Singin’ in the Rain, Thursday 7pm.

Everyone, everyone! Exhibit great love for yourself this Thursday night at 7pm, by going to nearly any movie theater around, and catch Singin’ in the Rain, the classic and magnificent 1952 musical starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Conner. If you saw this past year’s Best Picture Oscar winner, The Artist, the stories are very similar. Gene Kelly plays a famous actor at dawn of the sound era in film, struggling to assimilate to the new style when he meets the lovely and talented Debbie Reynolds. Sparks fly, tensions run high, and hilarity ensues.

If you enjoy enjoying things then I don’t know why you would ever miss an opportunity to see this on the big screen. Singin’ in the Rain is currently ranked #21 on my list of the 100 greatest films. So don’t deprive yourself.

I will be at the Alamo Drafthouse on Mason Rd. Come hang out with me.
